Dr. Nooman Gilani has published extensively and his clinical and research interests include pancreaticobiliary and liver diseases, advanced endoscopy and ERCP, endoscopic management of upper and lower GI benign and malignant disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease and Barrett’s esophagus.
Introduction
Dr. Nooman Gilani is an American board-certified interventional gastroenterologist and hepatologist. He has 22 years of experience working at leading academic and private institutions in United States.
Dr. Gilani received his basic medical training at Nishtar Medical University in Pakistan. He then completed his in Internal medicine training followed by fellowships in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, USA. He joined University of Arizona- Phoenix campus as a faculty and later served as chief of endoscopy. Subsequently, he ran his practice at Banner Health in Glendale, Arizona where he also served as chair for GI department for part of his tenure. Dr. Gilani has also been appointed as professor of gastroenterology at various medical colleges in Punjab, Pakistan where he established state of the art departments and GI training programs.
