This medication is used in the treatment of various bacterial infections such as
Lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)
Upper respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis)
Acute media otitis in children.
Skin and soft tissue infections (folliculitis, cellulitis, erysipelas).
Storage
Store below 30 C.

Precaution
Before taking clarithromycin, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other macrolide antibiotics (such as erythromycin, azithromycin); or if you have any other allergies.
During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.
